Gerard Edery has a remarkable range of ethnic folk styles and traditions from around the world, including songs from Europe, the MIddle East, South America and ancient Persia. Collaborating with his virtuoso musicians, Edery energizes this repertoire for contemporary audiences. Ellen Gould, the Emmy Award-winning actress and palywright will open the program with a story from the pen of a great Jewish writer. A tradition of the annual Hanukkah concert.
