Every Sunday Morning, combining live music and food in a fresh, cultural environment, City Winery’s Klezmer brunch series pairs some of the greatest musicians in the world with delicious lox, bagels and other tasty fare on our brunch menu on Sunday mornings from 10am to 2pm. **Please note that the live music is played from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a short break in the middle.

Tickets are just $10 to cover for live music and does not include food or drink. Children 13 and under are free for the music. We have a full brunch menu available upon request.

On select weekends we welcome Rabbi Dan Ain from The New Shul to lead thoughtful discussion on theology, spirituality and the movements of the cosmos. The Rebbe’s table to open to all to attend.

ABOUT TATIANA PLUS

The lead singer of the trio – TATIANA FLEISCHMANN – sings in English, Yiddish, Russian, Ladino, Gypsy, French, Spanish, and mingles the Klezmer style, European chanson, Gypsy traditions and modern Russian art singing with added elements of jazz, rock, flamenco, exploring every dramatic opportunity of these genres.

Born in Moscow, Russia, Tatiana has had a distinguished career as a theater performer and singer. She was a member of the award-winning theater companies “Na Krasnoj Presne”, “O.Tabakov Studio” and “The Nikitsky Gate”.
As a prominent Eastern European song performer she is perhaps best known for her role as lead singer in Loyko, the renowned Gypsy/Klezmer group who achieved international fame in the 90’s.

Later she sang with the virtuoso violinist/guitarist Oleg Ponomarev, was part of a celebrated trio “BIS”, enchanting audiences around the world with the innovative heady cocktail of soulful and heart-wrenching Klezmer music spiced with gypsy tunes.

Her guitar dates back to the 19th. Century and is an authentic piece by a celebrity craftsman who produced the best-sounding Gypsy guitars for the Royal band.

With her original style, Tatiana offers a unique interpretation of the songs and lets the audience hear the pieces performed as they have never heard them before. Her soft and colorful vocals, as well as mastery of both the piano and guitar have won her fans and critical acclaim all over the world.
