Starr Fellowship for “Music in Jewish Life” At Harvard

The Center for Jewish Studies at Harvard University invites applications for
the 2012-2013 Harry Starr Fellowship in Judaica on the theme:

“Music in Jewish Life”

Applications are welcome from candidates across the disciplines treating
topics related to Jewish music and its place in Jewish experience. Projects
may span historical and/or contemporary subjects and may draw on a range of
archival and/or ethnographic sources. The terms of the Starr endowment
specify that projects must be of an academic and scholarly nature, whatever
their topic or disciplinary orientation.

Ph.D. degree required
