“Funky Khanike Freylekh” features the Rikud Dance Troupe performing and leading authentic steps danced by Jews in Eastern Europe to klezmer music before the Holocaust. The troupe and attendees will dance to the exciting music of the intergenerational Community Klezmer Band. This event enables the public to become part of the Yiddish dance revival!
The party will also include stories with Rabbi Lynn Gottlieb, yummy refreshments, artists’ booths, childrens’ presentations, and more.
This event is a fund-raiser for Congregation Nahalat Shalom, a tax-exempt and non-profit organization
