Shiru Shir: The Jewish Community Choir of Flatbush, under the direction of Gregory Kushner, is seeking additional singers, male and female.

Shiru Shir sings a wide range of interesting music, including Israeli, liturgical, and renaissance music, Americana, and PDQ Bach. Kushner is a graduate of the Riga School of Music and is a professional musician, teacher, and choir leader. Solo vocal and instrumental performance opportunities are available. Sight singing is helpful but not required. Adults of all ages and college students are welcome. Shiru Shir meets each Tuesday night at the Yeshivah of Flatbush, which is easily accessible by subway from Brooklyn and Manhattan; street parking is available.
