Yale Strom is no stranger to the Jewish music world. He’s currently serving as the artist-in-residence for the Jewish Studies Program at San Diego State University. Strom is best known not only for his performance but for his films and books.
Together with Outside the Box, Boston Jewish Music Festival will be presenting the grand finale event, a concert by Shye Ben-Tzur & The Rajasthan Gypsies. Working by ear and with written music, we will explore ways to express the full potential of Yiddish music and dance, as individuals and as a group.
