the Boston Workmen’s Circle Yiddish Community Chorus
Special Workshop for Families
Sunday March 22
at the BWC building, 1762 Beacon St.
The workshop will be from 1-2 pm
Pizza lunch provided at 12:30; workshop begins at 1pm
Our new Chorus Director, Steve Lipsitt,
will give families a taste of the chorus experience,
learning to sing a few songs in harmony.
Parents, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles or family friends
can come with children ages 9 and up
Knowledge of reading music or Yiddish not necessary
-just a love of singing.

A Besere Velt – A Better World – is a 70-member multi-generational community chorus that weaves the irrepressible idealism of Yiddish folk music into a
vision of justice and humanity for the 21st century.
